Quantum reaction dynamics of weakly bound nuclei at energies around the Coulomb barrier
In this seminar I speak about the PhD project I am carrying out at ECT*. I briefly recall which kind of processes occur when a weakly bound nucleus interacts with a larger target nucleus pointing out the reasons why people are interested to understand and investigate such phenomena, as well as the conceptual and practical difficulties encountered along the way. I then turn to the specific task that was given to me concerning these first months, devoting particular attention to what I learnt up to now ( theoretical concepts, computational techniques), and what am I going to do as next step.
