Abstract:
Based upon Dyson-Schwinger equations predictions for the pion valence-quark distribution function, we will sketch a path towards realistic modeling of its light-front wave function and study a collection of distributions that can be derived from it: valence quark distribution amplitudes, parton distribution functions, electromagnetic and gravitational form factors, and generalized parton distributions. In connection with the QCD evolution of the parton distributions, we shall briefly discuss on a novel process independent QCD effective charge, which enable us to unambiguously defined the so called hadron scale. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Short Bio: Dr. Khépani Raya Montaño is a postdoc researcher at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Institute of Physics and Mathematics (IFM), University of Michoacan (UMSNH) Michoacan, Mexico in 2017. After completion of his degree he was appointed as a postdoc researcher at the Department of Physics of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV), Mexico City, Mexico in 2018. He was also appointed as invited researcher in the University of Huelva, Huelva, Spain in 2018. In 2019 Dr. Khépani Raya Montaño joined Nankai University as a postdoc researcher in the School of Physics. His interests are focused on the study of the Dyson-Schwinger equations approach on hadron physics. In particular, he is currently working on exploring the nature of hadron structure functions, including valence quark distribution amplitudes, parton distribution functions, electromagnetic and gravitational form factors, and generalized parton distributions. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation No.2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation and as detailed in the PrivacyPolicy for FBK event’s participants, we inform you that the event will berecorded and disclosed on the FBK institutional channels.
