Quantum Mechanics Tests in Particle, Atomic, Nuclear and Complex Systems: 50 Years after Bell’s Renowned Theorem
The workshop “Quantum Mechanics Tests in Particle, Atomic, Nuclear and Complex Systems: 50 years after Bell’s renowned theorem”, will bring together experts working on “quantum foundational tests” in distinct physical systems. The workshop is intended to gather world-leading experimental and theoretical scientists in the fields of atomic, nuclear, particle and complex systems tests of quantum mechanics and related symmetries, to enable a thorough exchange of information, to discuss the existent results and to strongly contribute to the future strategy. It will attract young scientists and students, providing a state-of-the-art overview on foundations of physics. The workshop isdevoted to the 50 years celebration since the John Stuart Bell’s famous contribution to the foundations of quantum mechanics, i.e. “Bell’s inequalities”.
