2021 CPS Most Influential Paper Award

The Chinese Physics C announced that Craig D. Roberts (Nanjing University) and his coauthors Minghui Ding (ECT*)Khépani Raya Montaño (Nankai University)Daniele Binosi (ECT*), Lei Chang (Nankai University)Sebastian M. Schmidt (Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf) have won the Most Influential Paper Award given by Chinese Physics Society in 2021 for the paper entitled “Drawing insights from pion parton distributions” published in Chinese Physics C, 44, 031002 (2020).

The Chinese Physics Society (CPS) launched a campaign in 2021, aiming to encourage more excellent researchers to publish their high-quality papers in Chinese journals.
The selection was based on papers that were published in the previous year.

The papers were categorized into six subject categories (theory and experiments in the fields of particle and field physics, nuclear physics, particle and nuclear astrophysics), with the winners being the authors of the top 3% papers, ranked by total citations, novelty and significance of the paper, and the peer-review reports.
