ECT Job Opening
There is currently an opening for a postdoctoral research associate at the European Center for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*), with a start date in October 2026. ECT*, located in Trento, Italy, and part of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), is a leading center for activities in nuclear physics in a broad sense. The successful candidates will be expected to hold a doctorate in physics or related areas and conduct research within any of the fields of theoretical nuclear physics and computational physics. Particular attention will be given to research areas that enable collaboration with the researchers at the Centre, which include Quantum Chromodynamics, effective field theories, and quantum simulations for strongly correlated quantum systems.
