NUPEX – NUCLEAR PHYSICS EXPERIENCE
NUPEX provides a free database of knowledge, created and maintained by expert nuclear physicists from all over Europe. It:
- offers teachers and students reliable, up-to-date information on nuclear science in several major European languages.
- explains whether or not skeptics’ fears about some applications of nuclear physics, such as the growing use of nuclear power plants, are justified.
INTERVIEW BY ECT* RESEARCHER SIMONE TAIOLI TO LOCAL TV CHANNEL
On June 3, ECT* Senior Researcher Simone Taioli gave an interview on nuclear energy to the local television channel TV33. During the interview, he discussed the role of nuclear energy and renewable sources in the national and international energy mix, highlighting the technological and economic aspects of these energy sources and their contribution to the energy transition.
