Renzo Leonardi, Professor Emeritus at the University of Trento and founding father of the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*) in Trento, passed away on July 6, 2019, very unexpectedly, at the age of 79.
To honor the memory of Renzo a ceremony will be held, that includes presentations by some of his colleagues and friends and a dedication of the ECT* lecture hall and of the fresco rooms in the Villa in his name, recognizing his key role in the foundation and in the international promotion of this prestigious Center.
