Hotel reservation and support for participants

Participants indicate on the registration form if they need a hotel reservation. The ECT* staff makes reservations in partner hotels. About two weeks before the workshop begins, the local workshop coordinator communicates to participants the hotel reservation details and the level of support.

The minimum support a workshop participant receives is support for the workshop meals. With meals we mean: all lunches and coffee breaks provided by ECT*, one workshop dinner, and a welcome pizza dinner in the evening before the workshop begins. Depending on the workshop budget, there is also the possibility of additional support, either partial (a contribution up to 40 euros per day for the hotel) or full (full cost of the hotel at the rate of partner hotels, except for the tourism tax). Please note that ECT* does not reimburse lunches/dinners outside of the workshop program. Hotel expenses can only be covered for a number of nights not exceeding the number of days of the workshop plus one.
