ECT* researchers listed in the "World's Top 2% Scientists", 2025 edition

We are pleased to announce that, once again in 2025, ECT* researchers feature in the Elsevier-Scopus list of the world’s top scientists (2% of the total), both for their impact last year (Bira van Kolck, Daniele Binosi, and Giovanni Garberoglio) and for their overall career impact (Bira van Kolck, Daniele Binosi, and Maurizio Dapor).

The “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list is developed by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier and ranks the top 2% of researchers worldwide out of a total of over 200,000 names. The data is collected by Scopus and evaluates the scientific performance of researchers based on standardized indicators from the previous year. The data is shown in two separate lists: the first considers the scholar’s entire career and the other the impact of the last academic year.
