The number and quality of laser spectroscopy studies on short-lived nuclei to explore changes in the nuclear size, spin, and moments for isotopes far away from stability, has increased tremendously in the last decade. The workshop will gather theoretical atomic and experimental nuclear physicists using laser spectroscopy to discuss the current status and needs in isotope shifts and hyperfine parameters relevant to the study of exotic nuclei. Twelve to fifteen speakers will be selected amongst the two communities. The organizers would like to find the right balance between extended talks and contributions by the key speakers, with shorter contributions from PhD students and post-doc researchers.
