Unveiling the Future of Material Analysis

The 2024 Long-Range Plan for Nuclear Physics was unveiled by NuPECC Chair Marek Lewitowicz in Brussels on 19 November.

On October 12 and 13, as part of an event organized by the Fondo Ambiente Italiano, ECT* opens its door for the public to admire a magnificent villa turned into a haven for theoretical physics.

On October 1st Dr. Elena Filandri arrived to ECT* with a splash: on the very same day, her article on dark matter scattering in nuclei appeared in Phys. Rev. C as an "Editors' suggestion".

The Asimov Prize is an award for particularly meritorious works of popular science and scientific non-fiction written in the year preceding the competition. Thousands of Italian students take part in the competition, casting their votes and evaluating the authors' books to determine who receives the prize.
